January Ramblings

For Christmas, Sammy got a K'Nex roller coaster set. She spent a day and a half diligently working to put it together. She was very proud of it when it was complete. It really worked too! The girls loved watching the car go around the track including into a figure eight.

Sadie has been enjoying loads of free rides in our little shopping trolley. As soon as it was discovered that she fit, everyone has taken turns pushing her around. She loves it.

I could have put this child's hair in pig tails almost from the day she was born but didn't. I finally did and boy does she look cute. She gets a lot of comments whenever her hair is like this.

Now it is Abby's turn to push Sadie.

This little goof ball loves to find the craziest outfits or accessories that she can and just be silly.

Here we are using the Christmas present I bought for myself - a fondue pot. Everyone ended up with chocolate all over the faces and pyjamas. Messy but fun!

Sadie is still the most popular "toy" around our house. She can be a REAL LIVE doll as you can see in the shopping cart. She can be wrapped up and carried around. The girls love to have her in their rooms and play with her by themselves on their bed. Abby sings to her and rocks her in the rocking chair. She is a great captive audience for any kind of spontaneous dance routine. In fact, the girls have discovered that if she is crying, turning on music and dancing for her always calms her down. The girls still fight daily over whose turn it is to hold her and who gets to feed her. She gets more slobbery kisses than one baby can handle but she takes it all very well. When the girls come home from school and see her for the first time each day, she lights up and begins smiling and chatting away to them. I love it. I get so much help.

She can now sit up too.

Here she is in her new high chair wearing her gorgeous new dress from Auntie Susi and chomping on Peppa Pig's head....

OHMYGOODNESS!!!! Those are some of the cutest pictures ever! Auntie Susi did a great job picking out that dress--what an adorable pic, with the pigtails and hair clips and .... and.... she's just so cute!!!!
Abby's has decided to keep her hair short, correct? It really suits her.
Miss Alex...where do I begin? Her pushing Sadie in the shopping cart is PRICELESS!!! Such a great photo! And her dressing up? Wow. I never would have thought a shower cap would be such a perfect accessory...
Oh how I love the girlies in your house! :)
