I've got a good case of the "blogging blahs" as I call it. I have a million different pictures on my camera of things we have been doing and places we've been but I have no desire to download, arrange, caption and post them. I just don't feel like it. Charles has been off work for the whole month of February studying for the Illinois State Bar, which he took this past Tuesday and Wednesday. He now has the rest of the week off and doesn't return to work until the first of March when he will promptly leave town on business for a few days. I say all this because I believe it has a part in why I have not felt the urgency to blog. I have just been enjoying all the extra time that we have been able to spend with him this month. We'll see if life going back to normal motivates me or not.
I must tell you though that we watched Mary Poppins last night with Abby and Sammy for the first time and they loved it. Abby had a bewildered look on her face most of the time. Though in the "I love to laugh" scene where they float up to the ceiling laughing she looked like she would also burst out laughing. Sammy just got up and danced all around the room everytime they broke into a new song. They also both loved the scene where they are on the carousel and then go prancing off into the countryside on their wooden horses. Abby loves watching old movies with lots of dancing. We DVR'd a program that showcases a bunch of dance scenes from various old movies and she watches it over and over. I love my little girlies...

I grew up dancing. My grandmother, mother and sister have all been dance teachers so sometimes I wonder if I'll have a girl to pass that love of dance on.
Have you read The Book Thief? So so good. I was just reading over your lists of recent reads and noticed that you didn't like The Lovely Bones. My neighbor just picked that for our next Book Club meeting. When she was telling me about it I thought it didn't sound like something I'd like. Oh well.
Mary Poppins? What a GREAT idea! Sam is such a chicken with movies... she gets scared if there is ANY confrontation at all. But I bet she could get used to Mary Poppins. I'll have to try that.
As for Blogging Blues. Go ahead and have a holiday for awhile. I'm sure you'll be back eventually. It's the ebb and flow of the blogging world. Enjoy the down time.
