Snort! Snort!

My youngest child has turned into a pig. I am not kidding! This has come as a result of watching the above television program. It is called, "Peppa Pig." This show is HUGE in the UK and every little toddler (boy or girl) seems to be obsessed with it. The show is very cute about a family of pigs who have great adventures but snort all the time. Now my child snorts at everyone, EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE we go. Now when I say "snort," I mean the kind of snort you do when you wrinkle your nose, open your mouth and make a loud (impolite) sound like someone who snores.  Alexandra has perfected this snort and does it shockingly loud for a two-year old. When people hear the sound they are always a bit startled by it for a second or two as if they don't know what just hit them. Then of course they laugh. I guess it is a pretty unexpected and quite a loud sound coming from an innocent-looking little two-year old girl.
How often does she make this sound? Well, she made it this weekend, the second we open the front door to our neighbors who we have never met; she snorts at the man behind me in line at the gym; she snorts to the crossing guard who is seeing us safely across the street; she snorts at the random woman walking down the road behind us; she snorted at the men working on our neighbors house; she snorted at the cashier in the shop when I was buying clothes; she snorted at children she doesn't know while we waited for Sammy to finish dance on Friday and the list goes on.

Here is the little porker herself...
Just yesterday she walked up into the middle of the chapel, in the middle of the congregation, in the middle of a church meeting, when it was quiet and someone was speaking and snorted as loud as ever and sent everyone into fits of laughter. Charles closed his eyes and buried his face in his hand and I ran with a red-face and grabbed the little swine child. Who let little Miss Porky off the farm anyway???

That is hilarious! Sounds like a fun show! And it sounds like you guys are having a good time being back in the UK. I hope all is well - let's catch up sometime soon. And I'm anxious to try the raw bar you posted. I picked up everything at the grocery store today, but forgot the coconut oil so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to make them.

Oh Peppa!! I forgot about Peppa! I remember watching it with Samantha from time to time while we were still in London, and specifically thinking, this show could be trouble if Sam were a little older! That is too hilarious!! And your pics of her are an adorable match for your story. I was laughing out loud at "here's the little porker herself!" hahaha!! She looks so cute!
