It's That Time of Year

Well, it's that time of year again, time to buy your wellingtons and get ready for the rainy season. We went and bought Abby some wellies this past week at the "Welly Workshop."

There were just too many to choose from. She finally decided on some pink ones (did you expect any other color?).

Here she is walking home from school in her new wellies. (She spilled strawberry jam on her pants at school.)

Here's Abby modeling last year's wellies. She loves jumping in all the puddles. It looks like so much fun that I am tempted to get some for me.

Here is her wellies in action last year at our friends' house in Surrey.

We might have to invest in so of those here, I hear it rains a lot. But it has been unusually dry.

My kids still wear their wellies all the time. I was going to get some out there, but I always end up just wearing sandals or clogs (slip-ons). Now if wellies came in the slip-on format, I would so be there!
