Salmon Victory!
In regards to my last post, I thank you for your reassurances that I am not sick and twisted, but perhaps just a little wacked. I had to post again today to tell you all of my huge victory with Abby tonight. I got her to eat salmon!!! I could not believe it. She took one bite and said it was "good chicken." I made sure to make it clear to her that it was fish and it was called salmon. Hopefully, she will remember that she likes it and will eat it again. She ate quite a bit. This is such a huge victory for me because I am definitely a fish and seafood connoisseur. I ADORE seafood and of course sushi (and I am not talking just california rolls here people, I am talking the REAL DEAL and ALL of it). So the fact that Abby has now eaten salmon and likes it, gives me BIG hopes that one day she will become my little sushi-eating, sushi-loving, long hours of sushi-indulgence pal. Hopefully, someday Sammy will also follow in her footsteps and together we will enjoy all the sushi we can eat and make up for the fact that the man I married turns up a wrinkled nose and puts on a sour face at any sight of the stuff... Here's to sushi dreams!

I guess I'm with Charles on that one... sushi counts as meat in my book. No eating animals for me... only chicken once in a while. And even that gags me when I remember what it is... it's all mental for me. Or some might just say I'm mental. :)
fish so nasty, it is the grossest food ever invented, if i were starving on a deserted island i don't know if i could get myself to eat a fish especially raw. i hear it is good for you though so good job Abby
Woo-Hoo!!! Two points, Joyce! We never had that sushi night!! man..
The only fish my kids eat right now are fish fingers, which doesn't really count seeing that it's mostly just batter they taste. Good job Abby!
